Songwriter, producer and singer Gaby Alter has had a long career in theater, TV, film and other media, including a song for a Disney animated feature sung by Tom Hiddleston, two Broadway-bound musicals, scores for films at the SXSW and the LA Film Festivals, and many years writing synth hooks for nerdcore rapper MC Frontalot.
On Yes Gabriel's debut EP, Alter began in a folk vein. Since then he's since pivoted to a soulful style of electro pop: Think Sting, Peter Gabriel and Wang Chung mixed with Caroline Polachek and LSD Sound System. When live, Alter's combo includes members of Wheatus ("Teenage Dirtbag.")
