The granddaughter of a jazz musician, Elaine grew up in a household filled with music. At the age of four she began to write poetry which would later serve as the foundation to her songwriting. Elaine’s original music is a fusion of her jazz roots and more recent immersion into R&B and alternative genres of music. Some of her earliest influences range from Ella Fitzgerald to John Mayer and more recently include artists such as Matt Corby and Faye Webster.
