Growing up in a small town in Northern California, she channeled her childhood surroundings into a blissful blend of folk and country. Embracing the honky-tonk energy of Nashville country, sweet-like-honey harmonies of Laurel Canyon, and gritty storytelling of the Greenwich Village folk scene, Rose Paradise is everything you love about Americana.
But amidst the flowers and mermaids exists a rawness to her sound she conjured in her years performing in the dive bars and gritty night clubs of New York City. Make no mistake: Rose Paradise is a folk singer who stage dives, moshes, and can send a crowd buck-wild. The tangible chemistry of her band and captivating performances has made her a staple of the downtown live music circuit. In March 2024, she took her band to Stinson Beach, California to record her debut studio album “Over The Hill” ...
“The title of this album is inspired by my upbringing in my small town. Growing up, in order to get to the gas station, the supermarket, or even my high school, I had to take the 30 minute journey over the winding roads of Mount Tamalpais, or to those who know, ‘Over The Hill.’”
The California chanteuse is poised for her biggest year yet, with upcoming shows at Bowery Ballroom and a hometown show at The Independent. Her 2023 singles “Take Me With You” and “Year of the Dog” hint at the emotions and imagery her forthcoming album “Over The Hill” will evoke. “It’s all happening...”
Carver Jones:
Meet 20-year old singer-songwriter and Omaha, NE native, Carver Jones. After turning down a college basketball scholarship to pursue an undeniable pull towards music, Carver, with his two best friends, hopped in an Econoline Van and hit the road. With no particular destination in mind other than to "see the Country," the boys have performed on the streets of cities all across America over the past two years, seemingly gaining a lifetime of experience in the process. Having released his debut EP, CARV, in February 2024, Carver recently introduced his three-act AMERICAN DREAMERS EP series with the first single, GET OUT OF BED. The second single, SIX, will release May 17.
